Port Albert offers many opportunities for anglers of all types. For adventurous & experienced boaties willing to take a trip through the entrance will be rewarded with some good seasonal catches of Flathead, Gummy Shark, Snapper, Salmon, Kingfish etc. The inshore waterways within the confines of the local islands are a safe option for those looking for a more relaxed day on the water. Use our new boat ramp to head out to Bass Strait, or hire a boat and enjoy a day out relaxing on the water!  The variety of fish to be caught will be just as varied, but you can add Garfish & Leatherjackets to the menu. Land based anglers can enjoy the serenity of the jetties while watching the world go by……a great place to relax! With 90 mile beach only 30 mins drive away a spot of surf fishing could be considered with the easiest access being at Woodside Beach.
