Mechanics Institute Hall

Established in 1878, the Port Albert Mechanics Institute Hall stands as a testament to the rich history and vibrant community spirit of this charming coastal town.

The Mechanics Institute Hall, the larger of the two halls, can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests banquet-style, while the "Small Hall," formerly the Port Albert School, is ideal for more intimate events and meetings, with seating for up to 50 people.

Both halls are wheelchair accessible, ensuring that everyone in the community can participate and enjoy the events hosted here.

Managed by the Port Albert Progress Association (PAPA), the Mechanics Institute Halls are available for rental, providing the perfect venue for both local residents and visitors to come together and create unforgettable memories in a setting rich with history and community spirit.
